This study aims to critically examine Duolingo\u2019s interface<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">through the lens of fair and deceptive design patterns, especially regarding<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">children\u2019s rights. We conducted a qualitative analysis<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">of the platform\u2019s visual and interaction elements, focusing on engagement<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">strategies. While Duolingo employs ethical practices<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">like clear interfaces, we identified manipulative patterns such as excessive<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">notifications and emotionally charged visuals.
